About Chef Myrick

AS a little girl born and partly raised in a third world country; I hadn’t a clue eating organically and “free range “was a privilege. If I wanted a mango, I would simply climb the mango tree. Our mangos were watered by the rain drops and kissed by the sun to perfection. Almost everything we consumed was from our farm. My father was a farmer, his father was a farmer as well as his father and so it continued. Eating organically was a way of life. Consuming organic rich foods straight from the rich earthly soil was not a trend for me. Not a trend that needed to be followed for the moment but rather a way of everyday life. If we did not cook, we did not eat.

There were no processed foods or snacks of any sort in our home growing up. Everyone took turns preparing “Thanksgiving” kind of meals seven days of the week. Preparing breakfast, lunch and dinner was labor intensive, however, truly rewarding as we sat and ate at the table as a family. It was a warmth that is indescribable today. There we no electronics just meaningful conversations of our daily lives.

Being the product of farmers made me an expert in the field of planting and the production of organic harvest. Once my family migrated to the United States, we remained true to the soil. Our father would purchase “live” chicken fowls for Sunday dinners, and we would enjoy all the offerings from the farm: fresh eggs, fruits, vegetables, and baked whole grain goods. Organic farmers market was a treat to visit locally or, when not feasible, via a farm share. Although our foods were triple the price, my parents understood the priceless value for eating “fresh.”

Today, as an adult, I have taken those years of traditional organic clean eats and passed it down to my children. We grow our own fresh herbs and spices, travel to local farms and pick our fruits and vegetables right off the trees. Organic Clean Eats is simply not a moment in time thing for Chef Myrick; it is a way of life! I have over twenty-five years of knowledge and experience in farm fresh organic foods. I go above and beyond to ensure that with every scrumptious morsel of bite you take; it is made with the freshest organic ingredients. From the heart with love!
